Dear Diary, welcome to my life/

Their lack of reassurance don’t make it harder to write/

So through the smoke and haze, my pen flows for days/

I could slow my ways, but I’ve got loads of pace/
It’s just waiting to flood the verse when the walls will break/

I take time when I write rhymes at the right time and I find to bust these barriers/
And I swear I don’t need no one beneath me trying to carry us/
When I get flowing and I don’t know where I’m going, I never felt happier/
like there’s a virus running, you are the carrier/

The virus enters me, but it’s like a euphoric feeling/
So much energy within, I jump from floor to ceiling/
I swear to God in my minds eyes, see something that’s more than winning/
Im’a just take a second and listen to all that’s in it/

I keep on running, well it must want something/
Enough to make that muscle in my chest stop pumping/
’Til I’m exhausted, so tired I could tip through the worst/
When my sweat turns into words and my breath is a verse/

You hear that and you act like it’s the first/
Time, that you seen that my life is controlled by a curse/
It is this music, in a way I can never escape/
And in a sense, there is nothing I can put in it’s place/

It is everything and I can swear to that/
It’s got a hold on me and it wont let me back/
And I don’t want it to, if it does it’s a trap/
Please above everything, would you let me rap/

and Some days I dream about how I gonna be famous/
And that day that I make it, and the looks on their faces/
At times I can smell it, hell I can even taste it/
